sawblade table
Entirely made of recycled materials, the Sawblade Table used a simple design to showcase subtle but extremely meticulous detailing. This table features an old masonry blade with blunted edges as its top. The blade is secured with a hand-turned copper bolt; both the center of the blade and the copper bolt head are tapered so that they are perfectly flush when tightened. The bolt threads into a copper fitting, which in turn sits in a ball-bearing surround by a maple block. The maple bearing block and lower table base are remainders from the Maker's Table.
